GREETINGS FROM THE BHAV

btm

Want to get away? Yea, we do too. We're going back to the India--where yoga, kirtan, meditation and all our favorite pastimes originate from. Join Bhakti Fest on this 18-day Indian Yatra: transcendent kirtan, world-class Yoga, eternal temples, and endless beaches. This spiritual pilgrimage from January 15-February 1 is guaranteed to be a trip of a lifetime throughout the mystic grounds of India, where the streets pulse with spirituality—where people dedicate their lives to the divine in its many forms. India is a playground that does not just please the senses, but satisfies the soul.

On this Bhakti pilgrimage, you’ll be led by trusted guides who have dedicated their lives to, worked, traveled, and lived in India included Saul David Raye, Shyamdas, and Sridhar from Center for Spiritual Studies. The experiences you have will make the trip last far beyond two weeks, but will leave lifelong imprints. It may even just change the course of your life. Sound like music to your ears? For further itinerary and details, scroll down...

If India isn't quite in your 2013 plans or budget, remember today is the last day for all 2013 Bhakti Festivals Early Bird Special. As of tomorrow, November 1, all ticket prices will be raised to their next tier price: Bhakti Fest Midwest will be on sale for $150, Shakti Fest will go up to $175, while Bhakti Fest West will be raised to $200. Tomorrow, housing for Shakti Fest and Bhakti Fest West at Joshua Tree Retreat Center will officially be available, so make sure to reserve your sacred spot, as rooms go fast. For housing inquiries email Bhakti Fest.

Lost in Sound: Bhakti Fest RecapMissing music festival season?

Live vicariously through LostinSound's "Digital Detox" and transformational experience at Bhakti Fest West 2012...

"Throughout the past year I have become entranced in the West Coast music festival scene, traveling from one intoxicatingly powerful speaker system to the next. Although my digital new age soul enjoys being swept away by synthesized sounds and robotic-alien languages played at earth rattling frequencies, Bhakti Fest provided a much-needed digital detox.

Instead of looking up at the musicians on stage and seeing a white apple glowing from the back of the computer screen, I saw instead real human hands gracefully maneuvering across exotic instrumentation..."
