As I write this newsletter I’m sitting on a bank on the holy Ganga just north of Rishikesh in India. I’m pulsing with so much gratitude and joy and wish to send these vibrations to you as you take the time to read these words. I invite you as you read through this newsletter (and maybe the article and video blog that are included) to take a few minutes out to relax and allow it to be a practice of being present with mental focus, at the same time as it being a meditative and heart centred experience, so you can bring that balance into the rest of your day, or can bring that deep relaxation into your sleep. As you read, enjoy nice long nourishing breaths and maybe continue that breath awareness into your day.

It’s been so wonderful to be back in India immersed in everything yoga. I’m feeling incredibly refreshed, inspired and cleansed. I’m so excited to bring this energy back to Perth and continue this amazing journey with you all.

Every thought, every emotion that we experience can be as addictive as any drug. Every idea that we have about life, every thought and emotion we feel has a chemical reaction in the mind and body. This constant flow of chemicals creates the most complex laboratory possible, and we all have one that is in constant change. What an amazing, mysterious and powerful tool the mind can really be! In there lies infinite potential. It’s just a matter of what chemicals (habits, reactions, ideas) we allow to flow the most in our mind. We don’t have to become a victim to tamasic states such as depression, worry and anxiety.
